Friday night football on the South Coast: every game, kickoff and where to watch or listen
It is the last Friday before the MIAA's football cutoff, and brackets come out Sunday at 1 p.m. Here is every game involving a South Coast team tonight, with records, this morning's MIAA rankings and where to watch.
NEW BEDFORD New Bedford has won three straight and takes a 6-1 record to Dartmouth for a 7 p.m. kickoff Friday, Oct. 30, at Dartmouth Memorial Stadium. The Whalers won 20-14 at Brockton last Saturday, have scored 240 points and lost only once, 34-8 at Quincy on Oct. 3. Old Rochester is 6-1 too, has also won three straight, and plays at Somerset Berkley at 6:30 p.m. at Hanson Memorial Stadium.
Tonight is the last Friday of games before the MIAA's football cutoff on Saturday, Oct. 31. Brackets come out at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, the association said in its fall tournament schedule. In the MIAA power rankings released Friday morning, which count scores entered through 4 a.m. Oct. 30, New Bedford is 13th in Division 1 and Old Rochester is seventh in Division 6. In every division, the top 16 teams with at least three wins and seven games played qualify.
Fairhaven and Apponequet, the South Coast's two unbeaten teams, both go for 8-0 at 6:30 p.m., Fairhaven at GNB Voc-Tech and Apponequet at Dighton-Rehoboth. The table below lists all 13 games involving South Coast teams tonight.
Where to watch or listen
New Bedford at Dartmouth is the one game with a free stream scheduled ahead of time. Dartmouth Community Media (DCTV) set up a YouTube live stream titled "Dartmouth High Football vs New Bedford - October 30, 2026," scheduled to start at 6:45 p.m.
Somerset Access Television posted a "Live feed Test from Hanson Memorial Stadium" on its YouTube channel at 12:48 p.m. Friday, so Old Rochester at Somerset Berkley may stream free there; no game stream was scheduled on the channel as of Friday afternoon. Somerset Berkley's home game and Fairhaven at GNB Voc-Tech are both listed on the NFHS Network, the MIAA's streaming partner, which charges a subscription.
We found no stream or radio broadcast listed for the other games as of Friday afternoon. Taunton High's athletics website links to a school YouTube channel for live streams, but no stream for the Franklin game was posted there. Tickets for Taunton's game are sold through GoFan, the school says.
