I-195 roadwork leads 36 new South Coast work zones this week
I-195 in both directions between Exit 24 at Route 140 in New Bedford and Exit 27 in Fairhaven will have some lanes closed from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday nights.
SOUTH COAST Part of I-195 in Fairhaven and New Bedford will have some lanes closed starting at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, for nighttime roadwork, according to the MassDOT Mass511 traffic map.
I-195 in both directions between Exit 24 at Route 140 in New Bedford and Exit 27 in Fairhaven will have some lanes closed from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday nights. I-195 westbound between Exit 19 and Exit 14 at Route 24 in Westport and I-195 eastbound between Route 136 and Exit 10 at Route 103 in Swansea will have some lanes closed from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday nights.
Route 24 northbound between Exit 10 and Exit 11 at Route 79 in Freetown will have some lanes closed from 10 p.m. Monday to midnight Tuesday. Route 24 southbound between Exit 2 and the Rhode Island state line in Fall River will have some lanes closed and a 12-foot width limit from 8:30 p.m. Thursday to 4 a.m. Friday. Route 24 southbound between Exit 13 and Exit 10 in Freetown will have lanes closed at times from midnight to 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Route 24 southbound between Exit 20 at Route 44 and Exit 16 in Taunton will have lanes closed at times and a 11-foot width limit from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Route 24 northbound Exit 8 ramp to Industrial Park Road will have lanes closed at times from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday.
Route 24 northbound between Exit 10 and Exit 11 at Route 79 in Freetown will have lanes closed at times from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. Tuesday.
Route 140 northbound between Exit 16 at Route 79 and Exit 20 at Route 24 in Taunton will have lanes closed at times and a 11-foot width limit from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The last new work zone on the map this week opens at 8:30 p.m. Thursday on Route 24. Mass511 shows any change to these schedules as MassDOT posts it.
