How we chose
We picked events open to the public on the South Coast from Sunday, Nov. 8, through Sunday, Nov. 15, that an organizer or a town posted with a date, time and place. Public meetings and town meetings are covered in our Town Hall stories. No organizer paid to be listed, and we did not review any event.
Label: Reported by us, from the town's posted records.
Notes
Every listing comes from the organizer's own page or a town calendar: the City of Taunton calendar, the Town of Dighton calendar, the Zeiterion's events page, the Narrows Center's upcoming events list and ticket page, and the Elizabeth Taber and Somerset library home pages. We read each one on Nov. 6, 2026. We checked each date and weekday against a calendar: Nov. 8 is a Sunday, Nov. 10 a Tuesday, Nov. 11 a Wednesday, Nov. 12 a Thursday, Nov. 14 a Saturday and Nov. 15 a Sunday. Not heard: no organizer was contacted for this guide.
