Sponsor South Coast 360
Local businesses can sponsor reels, the 6 a.m. edition, the Friday Night Scoreboard and The South Coast Conversation. Every sponsor is labeled, and no sponsor ever touches a story.
Three ways to sponsor
The same three formats run on every reel, and the same labeling rules carry to the newsletter, the scoreboard and the show.
| Slot | What viewers see | Time it adds |
|---|---|---|
| AEnd card | After the story, a navy card: our mark, the word SPONSORED, the sponsor's logo, one short line, phone and web address. | 5 seconds at the end |
| B"Sponsored by" badge | A navy and white badge under the closing caption, for the last 3 seconds of the reel. | None |
| C"Presented by" open | Before the story, a navy card: SPONSORED, "Presented by", the sponsor's logo. | 1.5 seconds at the start |
Beyond reels
- The 6 a.m. edition: one labeled sponsor on top of the newsletter.
- Friday Night Scoreboard presented by you: your name on the weekly scores reel and share card.
- The South Coast Conversation presented by you: a spoken line at the start and a short close, with the same words in the episode title and description.
Rules that never change
- Always labeled. The word SPONSORED (or AD) is on screen, in the caption and in the description. Never "partner" or "thanks to" alone.
- Kept apart from the news. Sponsor material lives in its own navy frame and never sits inside a story card or uses the news design.
- No say in a story. A sponsor never sees, shapes or approves what we publish. A sponsor cannot buy a correction or a delay.
- No spot on stories about the sponsor. If a story is about a sponsor, no sponsor spot runs on that story.
- Claims we can stand behind. A sponsor line is six words or fewer, with no "best," no "#1" and no prices that change. Health or results claims are reviewed first.
- A signed agreement. Sponsorships run under a written agreement with the editor and publisher.
