SOUTH COAST Lakeville police are asking for the public's help to find 15-year-old Sophia Herrera, who was last seen leaving Apponequet Regional High School in Lakeville on Wednesday morning.
Sophia left the school at about 10:48 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, police said. Police ask anyone who sees her to call 911.
What she looks like
Police describe Sophia as about 5 feet 1 inch tall and 102 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
When she was last seen, she was wearing a dark purple or plum hoodie, loose light blue-gray pants and light pink New Balance sneakers with white soles, police said. She was carrying a black backpack with distinctive white piping.
The police poster shows a recent photo of Sophia and a picture of the clothes she was last seen wearing. The case number is I26-11605.

Apponequet Regional High School, at 100 Howland Road in Lakeville, is the high school of the Freetown-Lakeville Regional School District.
