A crash has been reported on Interstate 495 southbound in Middleborough, between Exit 15 at Route 44 and Exit 14 at Route 18, according to Mass511, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation's traveler information service.

The MassDOT listing, last updated at 1:18 p.m. Saturday, was still active when we checked it at 1:57 p.m. It tells drivers on that stretch to look out for a crash. It does not say how many vehicles are involved, whether anyone was hurt or whether any lanes are closed, and it lists no detour or expected delay.

Drivers heading south on I-495 through Middleborough and toward Lakeville should look out for the crash, as MassDOT advises, and check Mass511 for the latest before they travel.
