A separate street notice at the bottom of the same list covers Platt Street from Plain Street to Varley Street and Varley Street from Platt Street to Bedford Street. The city's graphic dates that notice "Tuesday 11/2 and Wednesday 11/3." On the calendar, Nov. 2 is a Monday and Nov. 3 is a Tuesday.

Turner Street meets Davol Street along the Route 79 and Davol Street corridor, which the governor's office said Oct. 28 the state had finished rebuilding, as SC360 reported that day.

State work on Route 6 and I-195

MassDOT lists roadwork on Route 6 westbound between Route 88 and Route 138, which it places in Fall River, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Nov. 3 to 6.

Before you head out

MassDOT's Fall River listings, with state and town roadwork across the South Coast, are mapped street by street on SC360's South Coast roadwork tracker. Highway lane and ramp closures across the region this week, including New Bedford's Route 18 interchange and Route 140 in Taunton, are in our week of Nov. 2 highway story.

Notes

Every city street, block and date comes from the City of Fall River's own Road Closures/Delays post for the week of Nov. 2 on its official Fall River Government Facebook page, which we read and saved Monday night, Nov. 2. Every state closure, hour and width limit comes from MassDOT's own Mass511 event listings, which we read at 9:18 p.m. Monday and kept with each event number. We checked each date and weekday against a calendar; the city's graphic pairs Nov. 2 with Tuesday and Nov. 3 with Wednesday, and we quote it as printed. Not heard: the City of Fall River, on the hours, detours and the work on each street.
