WAREHAM Wareham's second-quarter real estate and personal property tax bills for fiscal 2027 are due Monday, Nov. 2. The payment is the second of four quarterly installments for the fiscal year, which began July 1 and runs through June 30, 2027. Real estate bills cover land and buildings; personal property bills are owed mainly by businesses on equipment and furnishings.
The Treasurer/Collector's office collects real estate and personal property taxes along with motor vehicle excise, boat excise, sewer usage and other town fees, including Seagate haulers and Social Day Care payments.
How to pay
Bills can be viewed and paid online or paid by phone at 508-381-5455. The online payment service is run by a third party, not by the town; payers leave the town's own site to use it. The town's online payments page sends real estate, personal property, motor vehicle excise and boat excise tax payments through a payment partner called City Hall Systems, which also handles the town's sewer usage and trash service bills. The Wareham Water Bill, from the Wareham Fire District, and the Onset Water Bill, from the Onset Fire District, run through a different payment partner, UniPay.
Anyone who pays through online banking or another bill-pay service needs to check the mailing address. The tax payment address changed on Jan. 1: payments now go to Town of Wareham, PO Box 848225, Boston, MA 02284-8225. The town told taxpayers in January that online banking and bill-pay users would need to update the address on their end.
The town also warns against one bill-pay route by name. "All residents and taxpayers are hereby advised that the bill-paying services provided by DOXO are not endorsed by the Town," the January notice states, adding that the town cannot accept responsibility for payments made through the service. DOXO is not affiliated with the Town of Wareham for online bill payment.
What is next
Payments that miss the Nov. 2 deadline, the first Monday of the month, are late under the town's quarterly billing calendar; the third-quarter bills follow later in the fiscal year. Phone payment at 508-381-5455 is the listed alternative for anyone who does not want to pay online.
Questions on a bill, a balance or a payment go to the Treasurer/Collector's office through the town's payment line, 508-381-5455.

How we verified this
Every fact comes from the Town of Wareham's own pages, read fresh Oct. 21, 2026, about 10 p.m. EDT: the due-date alert posted Oct. 20, the January notices on the mailing address and DOXO, the Treasurer/Collector department page and the online payments page. The weekday was checked against a calendar: Nov. 2, 2026 is a Monday. Fiscal 2027 running through June 30, 2027 follows the standard Massachusetts municipal fiscal year (July 1 to June 30); no other fiscal detail is claimed. No other news outlet is a source for this story. Not heard: no one was contacted; the town's own pages state the due date, the payment routes and the warnings.
